Towards the Critical Review

I've decided that my critical review will be based on representation of gender, race and ethnicity in photography with regard to women in the 20th century and in particular women photographers in the 20th century.

I've been fairly quiet on my blog lately as I've been sourcing reading material and online info to go towards the critical review.  There are several books that I've come up with to help with my research and these are:

Emancipation and Empowerment of Women by Drs (Mrs) V. Mohini Giri; Gyan Publishing House New Delhi - 110002, ISBN: 81-212-0598-0; published in 2005

In Real Life by Leslie Sills, published by Holiday House/New York

Against the Odds, Women pioneers in the first hundred years of photography; Martin W Sandler, Rizzoli International Publications Inc - New York 2002,

Fighting on the Home Front - The Legacy of Women in World War One by Kate Adie; published by Hodder & Stoughton (0001),

Wikipedia - various sources of biographical information of women photographers

You Tube - short videos of various ideas
